Sarah Gruen is a speechwriter and humorist based out of New York City.
She recently rejoined West Wing Writers, a speechwriting and strategic communications firm, as a Senior Director. Previously, she served as the Director of Speechwriting for Linda Thomas-Greenfield, the United States Ambassador to the United Nations and member of President Biden's cabinet.
Sarah's work has been published in The New York Times, The Washington Post, and the Wall Street Journal—as well as in in The New Yorker, McSweeney’s, and Points in Case under her own name.
She is currently an adjunct professor at City College's Colin Powell School for Civic and Global Leadership, teaching a course on communication in public service.
